If you miss an even numbered round (R2, R4 or R6), you will just drop the scores from that round.

If you need to miss an odd numbered round (R1, R3 or R5), you will NOT be able to race at the subsequent round as the tyre wear will not be equal to the other drivers. However, there may be some circumstances that will allow a driver to race as follows:

Drivers who miss an odd numbered round will only be allowed to enter the following round at the discretion of the organisers using a suitable used set of tyres purchased from NKC. Examples of tyres that we may provide:

• A set that were used in your class by another driver at the previous round and completed all race sessions.
• A set that were used in your class by another driver in at least 2 prior rounds and completed all race sessions.

Drivers may also be allowed to race using their own tyres that have been used in at least 2 previous rounds and completed all race sessions.

If an odd-numbered round was declared ‘wet’ for the whole meeting meaning slicks were unused, drivers will be able to join the following round on new tyres.

Race tyres will be ordered in advance through NKC and collected at Round 1. If you are a subscriber, you will not need to order tyres, just collect them from the first round.

The subscription will work for any drivers planning on competing in the full 2026 season and want to spread the cost (and receive a discount). There are no refunds so if you are unsure if you will race in all six rounds, we recommend taking the standard route.

The subscription options are completely optional. It’s an initiative we introduced in 2024 and seemed to work well for drivers wishing to compete in all of the rounds. It helps drivers by giving a simple way to spread the cost of the season with entry fees and tyres included. It helps NKC by having drivers commit to the whole season.

The top privateer in each class at each round in 2026 will receive a trophy. Full details of what denotes a privateer will be released in the final 2026 regulations.

No, track time will likely be the same as 2025. We’ve run events with over 240 entrants and still offered the same amount of track time.

Yes. in 2026, there will be three sub-championships for Rounds 1&2, 3&4 and 5&6. Registration will still be required.

Every driver will drop their 3 lowest scoring heats and 1 lowest scoring final from their championship points tally in the main six round championships. There will be no dropped rounds in the mini cups.

Yes. Guests can race NKC but are limited to one round. There is an additional charge of £30 added to the entry fee and you must adhere to the tyre regulations. No championship points will be scored but you are eligible for trophies. If guests would like to race at additional rounds, they will need to register but the points from the round entered as a guest will not be counted.

Guests can only race at Round 1, 3 or 5.

Yes, you can still register up to and including Round 5.
