Welcome to NKC 2026
Renowned for its friendly atmosphere and excellent value, NKC is back for its 10th season. Having grown into one of the UK’s top national karting championships, it attracts some of the best drivers from across the country. But with strict tyre regulations, any driver has a chance to take the win.
NKC 2026 spans six rounds at six different circuits across England.
We offer classes for both Juniors and Seniors in Rotax, X30 and TKM.
Calendar
NKC travels to six tracks again in 2026. We’re revisiting some of our favourites along with our first time at Shenington in July.
The main NKC championship is competed over six rounds with three side-championships to race for.
Competitors unable to race the full championship can choose to take part in one or more of the NKC 2026 sub-championships.
Rounds 1 and 2 – North-South Challenge Cup
Rounds 3 and 4 – Midlands Double Cup
Rounds 5 and 6 – The Andy Wagstaff Cup

Tyres
Inter / Rotax / TKM
Drivers are limited to THREE sets of slicks for the six round calendar.
Usage is closely monitored and race tyres MUST feature laser-etched barcode numbers to be eligible to race. Race tyres will be ordered from NKC for collection at the track.
Costs
NKC was created to be the most affordable owner driver national championships in the UK which we achieve by keeping tyre use tightly regulated (3 sets for the season) and entry fees as low as possible.
Standard 2026 costs
NKC Complete (10% discount)
You can pay for your full season of racing upfront for a 10% discount. The upfront cost includes:
